the current version 1.1 of our Task Management application,
Task2Gather. We are aware of the fact that this version doesn’t
support the current iPhone OS 3.0.

Our new version 2.0 that supports the new OS and that has new features
and style was submitted to Apple quite long ago but unfortunately we
are still waiting for its approval. Therefore we would kindly ask you
to wait for the new update to be released and after that you will be
able to use and enjoy the new Task2Gather 2.0 on iPhone OS 3.0.

Please excuse us for any inconvenience this might have caused and
please accept our apology.

21st of May, 2009 ” VITO Technology releases the new UI for Web Service Task2Gather. Task2Gather also has instant access to all your tasks online so that our users can enjoy T2G also on their iPhone or Windows Mobile handset. Web version synchronizes with them so you’ll always be on top of your todos. Another standalone feature of our T2G desktop service is COLLABORATION. There’re no limits for collaboration as you can share tasks and project with anybody you need no matter which mobile phone or if with a PC or Mac. We support it you use it and it is all for FREE.

As we’ve already announced we’re currently working on the great improvements. Among them are offline versions of iPhone and Windows Mobile clients and new interface of the desktop version of Task2Gather. The The offline version of Windows Mobile client has been postponed therefore the nearest changes will be connected with iPhone version and desktop client.

Those who are interested in testing and seeing the new interface of desktop Task2Gather get in touch with us via feedback form and we’ll send you the link with new design.

Please be aware that the interface is not the final one some changes might appear.

We just wanted to let you that we’re working on improving of the Task2Gather service.

We’re currently working on the following:

• offline mode version of Task2Gather for Windows Mobile
• offline mode version of Task2Gather for iPhone
• the new interface for desktop version of Task2Gather with some improvements

Aliza Sherman has posted a review of Task2Gather at Web Worker Daily. The following “pluses” and “minuses” were singled out by the project manager:

Pluses:
1. One feature that my project manager really likes is the stats and reports feature. That could take the place of her weekly past-due reports that she generates by hand in a spreadsheet.
2. She also likes that you can assign a deadline that shifts with the project’s priority.
3. And she likes that you can see how close to completion a project is, but you have to put in hours spent. That begs to ask the question: Would everyone on our team take the time to enter their hours per project?

Betsy Brottlund has made up a top iPhone application list for business professionals. She has included 11 apps in the list. Task2Gather was included in the list and stated as “this application is ideal for maintaining all your business, personal, and family tasks. You can organize tasks, separate them, and share them with iPhone users and non-iPhone users. Additionally, the tasks are always accessible from your iPhone and your computer. Tasks can be divided into subtasks so you can delegate to colleagues.”

I’d like to add that Task2Gather for iPhone and for Windows Mobile is only $0.99 till the offline mode release. The desktop version is now free of charge. This is a bargain for the crisis time when businessmen try to save money on everything including task management tools.
