The flexibility of Task2Gather service is boundless. We’ve already told you how our company, VITO Technology, uses it for bug tracking. Now I’d like to share how Task2Gather helped me in preparing for the vacation.

I’ve been using the service for quite a long period of time then. Mostly I use it for work. So, when I started preparing for the holidays I decided to give a test drive to Task2Gather as a personal to-do list.

Firstly, I started a new project called “Vacation” with subtasks “Stuff to be packed” and “Stuff to be bought”. Then there was the period of brainstorming when I kept tracking the list of things that I need during the vacation.

While planning another great idea crossed my mind to count expenses with the help of Task2Gather. For this purpose I put the approximate amount of money in the field “Estimated”. So that when all items were listed I could easily see in the “List” mode how much money I need on all this stuff. This way Task2Gather also helped me in planning my budget.

Having bought everything I’ve duplicated list “Stuff to be bought” to the “Stuff to be packed”. You can do it by clicking “Duplicate” at the control panel and then “Cut” the copy and “Paste” it in the right place.

Actually this was the first trip in my life when I managed to take ALL essential things with me (even a toothbrush). Packing the bags took much less time. Moreover I knew how much money I spent on buying stuff for the trip. Isn’t it great?
