Task2Gather turns ONE year old!

01.08.2008 First public release of our web application for managing tasks online – Task2gather. At the beginning we started using it internally and we liked it so much that we decided to make it available for everybody.

1. Web version with the following functions available:

· Hierarchical structure of tasks together with list mode
· Sharing of projects: each project can be shared with different people
· Each project and task can be: assigned to different people, can be colored by legend, can have time progress (estimated and spent hours), have a deadline and can be commented by the participants
· All tasks can be exported in html and then printed out
· All tasks can be moved around the projects
· Generate reports: user statistics, project statistics and project progress
· iCalendar subscription can subscribed to your calendar (Google Calendar, Outlook express or Apple iCal)
· Shortcuts support:
N - Creates new task
Arrows (up, down, left and right) help you navigate through tasks
Enter for edit mode of the task
Esc Exists the edit mode
Ctrl+Enter Save the changes after editing tasks

2. iPhone version of Task2Gather involves the following outstanding features:
· Free Web synchronization
· Filter Tasks
· Full integration with iPhone, web and Windows Mobile applications
· Organize tasks and subtasks
· Discuss your tasks in the comments area
· Track priority, due date, and status of tasks

3. Windows Mobile version of Task2Gather :
· Adding new projects and tasks
· Sharing projects, assigning the responsibility to one of the participants,
· Setting the deadline,
· Marking tasks by color
· Stylish and intuitive interface

COMING SOON:

* iPhone version with Push Notification see and listen to new tasks and comments as soon as they appear (under approval at Appstore)
* New Windows Mobile off-line version

    Thanks for the gift. Really diggin T2G so far. I wanted to see if you guys ever thought about really making this app easy to do GTD with? Would be great to add contexts to task themselves, not just projects.

    Andy, if you’re realy interested in trying Task2Gather I’ll gladly give out you a free key as well:)

    David, as the project is still developing, pobably, we’d be able to add some GTD feature as well (e.g. tags). Though I can’t promise it.

    Thanks for the response, if you did focus this app on GTD, I think the WinMo community would be on it like white on rice since we don’t have ANY good GTD apps :( and people keep asking for them. The app is already pretty close, wouldn’t take much.
