The flexibility of Task2Gather service is boundless. We’ve already told you how our company, VITO Technology, uses it for bug tracking. Now I’d like to share how Task2Gather helped me in preparing for the vacation.
I’ve been using the service for quite a long period of time then. Mostly I use it for work. So, when I started preparing for the holidays I decided to give a test drive to Task2Gather as a personal to-do list. (more…)

If you want to delete a project or a task, choose it by clicking with a mouse so that it is highlighted and press delete in the edit mode field. Look at the screenshot:

You can delete only your own tasks (the tasks that were created by you). The owner of the project (the person who created the project) also has rights to delete any task in the project.

Hierarchy or as it called in Task2Gather Tree is used for a better task organisation. It is no secret that sometimes to complete a major task you need to fulfill the minor ones. So you may create a main Project let’s call it “Move the table to a storage unit” and all the other tasks may be put as sub tasks and assigned to different team members:

Or if you want put each task as a subtask of the previous one, in this case there appears a chain of tasks that should be done in the specific order, one after another:

It could also be seen in the list mode this way:

On september 21st, 2008 Mashable posted an article called 270+ Tools for Running a Business Online. I’d like to thank Cameron Chapman for putting our service Task2Gather in the section “Task Lists, Planning & Project Management”.
Such posts give people possibility to check apps and decide which one they like most instead of surfing the net jungle in the seek of new services. There is a great number of interesting solutions for business that are worth looking at.

Question: If a task in Task2Gather is assigned to me and I want to ask the other project members for some advice, no other person would get a notification of my new posting in the discussion area. Maybe a posting could be adressed directly to another team member?
Answer: You can ask for suggestions or state a question about the task in the field “Comment for discussion” and assign the task to the person who you ask. That person answers and reassigns it back to you. It works great in this case.
Do you find this way to be a good decision for communication between team memebers concerning the tasks? If not suggest your own.

Thanks to Josh Williams from Neutron Dawn we’ve got first detailed review of  iPhone and desktop versions of Task2Gather.
This review demonstrates the way Task2Gather can be used both as an individual  and a common task manager for a company. The author gives vivid examples of  how you may reach common goals using powerful Task2Gather service.
He also singles out “a collaborative hierarchical view structure” that makes  Task2Gather unique among other task management services: “Task2Gather is  based on a collaborative hierarchical view structure. What all those big fancy words  mean is that you can have as many participants as you want on each individual  project, and each project can have infinitely many subtasks within it. (and  subtasks to the subtasks and so on). Each subtask can be delegated to any  participant that’s working on the project. For a company, this could be very useful to ensure that everyone has something to work on.” (more…)
